European SME week - grand opening !!!

Bravo Eugeniu!

Ca in orice poveste romaneasca, exista si in acest caz multe "interese" care de daca asta nu au avut succesuri...poate am avut si eu un mic rol ;)

hai, ganditi antreprenorial!!! Cica se poate...

STOP using GOOGLE: use ECOSIA !!!

And because tonight I'm green and we talk about bio-diversity and about how to save our planet, I share with you another way: ECOSIA.

A search engine (Bing - Yahoo partnership) that donates 80% of the incomes for saving the rainforest and actually every search can help to save 2 square meters of green forest.
More details here about how it works and why you should use it daily ;)
Get greener with every search !!!

Esti verde?

Biodiversitate? Adica?

Super ideea!!!

In iunie are loc si Green Week Conference.

so, green yourself ;)

How do you do Brussels?

The same team that did the How Do You Do Moscow project, are launching the same concept but in Brussels!

What is it about?

The project consists in presenting a mix of 60-70 profiles (protagonists): with persons that live/work in Brussels but do not have a Belgium nationality, so that to capture a diversity of Brussels in terms of world nationalities, languages, ages, jobs, activities...everything that can concentrate the magic of Brussels. Each profile will have 1 black & white photo and a short interview about what they like or don't like here, what is their favorite park, what are the best waffles in Brussels and so on...The photos need to be expressive/funny/cool and will be done in a location relevant for this City (like Grand Place, Atomium...)

For the photos, the project team has contacted the Photo Club of the Commission. There are around 11 photographers that will search for the profiles and do the photos (around 10 profiles each). When all the photos are ready, a team of professional photographers together with some exposition curators will choose the profiles that will be promoted: on the website, the booklet, the media and in a large exposition at BOZAR!

These are some of the profiles that are needed: student, French teacher, BD cartoonist, director/producer, theatre actor, writer/author, TV presenter, Volunteer, Taxi Driver, Refugee, Waffle\Ice-cream\Fries seller, Velo Mechanic, Blogger, bus/tram driver, Cartoonist, Dancer, Butcher, Home maker, Lobbyist, Nutrionist, Priest...

This list is open so please feel free to suggest ;)

If you are interested I would like to take your photo ;) It will be FUN!!!

a zis nimic...

trimit un reply doar catre business manager (coleg de unitate cu editorul razvratit, avand chiar birourile unul langa altul) si ii spun sincer ca eu nu inteleg de ce nu vrea sa ne ajute din moment ce este chiar una din responsabilitatile sale. primesc raspuns: "it seems that X is very reluctant. contact the other editor". si continua intr-un alt email: "i don't wanna do a bit fuss about it...try to solve it on your side with the communication unit".

raspunsul meu a fost scurt la obiect: "i don't believe I should push anymore into this endeavor. once the events will be encoded the communication unit will do their job and publish the events". nu am mai primit nici un alt raspuns.

Co-decision & IT-decision

The quality of the information systems of any organization, the automation of the business processes and the successful alignment between the business and IT, depends on the maturity of the business and of the organization.

Last week, Gartner has finalized the report for the European Commission: Method for Assessing ICT implications of EU Legislation.

It's not public yet, but the objective of the study was to develop a method that can be used by the EC, by other implementing bodies at the EU level and by the Member States when assessing ICT implications of draft EU legislation and proposed or adopted EU legislation. Such an assessment should increase stakeholders' understanding of the ICT implications.

The report offers a process, impact assessment tools and explains that the Co-decision process should involve as earlier as possible the IT experts that will determine the impact, will explain the inter-operability and risks and will make recommendations so that the technical solution is feasible and will sustain the implementation and adoption of the legislation.

The CO-decision process will no longer be a 2 players game but will soon have a third referee - the IT GOVERNANCE.

Some time ago, a German European parliamentary has said that every EU legislation has an equivalent in an IT system/solution. The Commission has finally acknowledged this, has achieved the business maturity needed and will involve the IT in the strategic construction of the European Law.

That's why I love IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

La jour de l'Europe

Sarbatoare in cartierul European.

Democracy Deficit? Not today!

HAPPY EUROPEAN DAY!!!
